Hi, I’m Daphne, the face behind Bookswithdaph. I’m a Honduran living in Spain, and I can honestly say that it has been quite an adventure so far. I used to work as a Science and English teacher until one day it stopped being fulfilling, prompting me to move to Spain two years ago.

I have always loved reading, and last year (2023), I decided to find a way to express my thoughts on the types of books I read. This led me to join the BookTok community through Instagram and TikTok. Motivated by my platform, I found myself getting lost in the words written by amazing authors, resulting in the surprising total of 454 books read.

After alpha reading for one author (whom I love), I realized how much I enjoyed it and wanted to help more indie authors reach a wider audience. So, I started researching how I could assist them in overcoming the challenges they face when publishing a book.
